The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project management, vendor and stakeholder coordination, and a proven ability to drive operational excellence. This role requires a highly organized and self-reliant professional, capable of managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring alignment between IT systems and our business goals.

In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our tech infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and ability to lead a team of talented individuals.

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strategic relationships with vendors and stakeholders to deliver IT services and products that enhance business outcomes and exceed performance expectations.
  • IT Project Management: Ensure the successful execution of IT projects by meeting timelines, staying within budget, and aligning with business objectives to drive measurable impact.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement streamlined processes that improve operational performance, reduce operational costs, and maximize the strategic use of technology to boost productivity and competitiveness.
  • Governance: Ensure compliance and effective asset management by developing governance policies that protect IT infrastructure and align with industry standards, reducing risk and enhancing system integrity.
  • Multitasking and Organization: Coordinate multiple projects effectively, maintaining efficiency and prioritization to ensure all tasks contribute to organizational goals.
  • International Collaboration: Lead cross-border teams to achieve seamless project delivery and alignment across international regions, enhancing global collaboration and communication efficiency.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered instead of a formal degree.
  • Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or similar role
  • Strong technical expertise in managing and optimizing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and experience in implementing security measures
  • Adaptability and willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • Language: Norwegian general understanding and English fluency.

Note: this role is based in Oslo.
