What will your responsibilities look like?
Strategy-to-plans flow - complements the business strategy by adding essential aspects of business technology
Reflects business perspectives in technology platform and partner selections to enable business transformation, enabling technology innovation to enable business transformation
Involves enterprise architecture to provide a systematic and consistent view of business capabilities and underlying technology solutions
Service planning to bridge the enterprise architecture planning with concrete plans for service development connected to expected business results
Formulates and prioritizes the strategic themes of the organization (i.e. Portfolio Backlog)
Maintaining a portfolio board of development initiatives and their status
Introducing portfolio best practice and providing relevant coaching
Supporting development streams in value creation and problem solving
Resolving risks, impediments and conflicts of interest or dependency problems
Organizing business value realization measures and sharing lessons learned
What do we expect from you?
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Portfolio Manager with an IT focus
Seeks to empower, motivate, and coach others by considering individual development as well as business needs
Anticipates and embraces change; navigates the hurdles faced and is calm & positive when faced with challenges and uncertainty
Shows strong impact and output orientation
Familiarity with database management, software development, application management and IT infrastructure
Understanding of data analytics and business intelligence tools
Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM)
Strong understanding of business processes and operations
Ability to align IT solutions with business strategies and objectives
Awareness of industry trends and regulatory requirements
