The Position
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join one of our teams in the Roche Informatics division. In Roche Informatics, we focus on delivering technology that evolves the practice of medicine and helps patients live longer, better lives.
- Connecting to business strategy, driving a common understanding of the informatics portfolio , and ‘connect the dots’ with portfolios across Informatics and our Business partners.
- Use business domain expertise and strategic agility to help teams focus on business value and align to the strategic initiatives of business and IT leadership. Work with Informatics Domains and business partners to define the strategic themes and value framework to prioritize our work and portfolio based on organizational needs
- Highlight and identify risks/impediments in the portfolio and lead the development of subsequent actions to minimize/mitigate project failure (delayed/over budget)
- Ensure resources are effectively deployed and tracked for optimizing value-driven investments
- Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and model or coach the use of Agile/lean best practices and innovation
