JOB SUMMARY

The IT Process Manager is primarily responsible for the design, development, and execution of business process related solutions. This position provides frameworks to facilitate organizational change through continual process improvement. This position defines customer needs, establishes performance measures, reviews and analyzes performance, oversees process governance/compliance, develops plans/proposals for project delivery, and provides training. This position ensures business processes, tools, and automations are optimized to support processes. Work generally leads to internal processes, practices, and/or functions being modified for improved individual and institutional efficiency and effectiveness.
The IT Process Manager at this level acts as a process influencer for basic, well-established IT processes in the Office of IT, assisting in process/procedure execution, communication, and training.
NOTE: This position is an hourly, non-salaried ¾-time position, not a full-time position. As such, the benefits are different from full-time, and only 28 hours are allowed to be worked in a week.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Required: 2 years of product management, project management, process management, organizational change management, or business analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred: Training experience preferred. Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM processes preferred. Basic Business Process Management (BPM) or Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA) preferred. Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) preferred.
