Responsibilities:
As IT Procurement and Compliance Officer, your mission is to drive excellence in technology integration. You play a central role in strategically procuring top-notch IT goods and services, fostering vendor partnerships, and upholding rigorous standards of compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Your mission begins with strategic procurement operations. You will source, evaluate and negotiate contracts for IT goods and services. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, you ensure procurement aligns with departmental needs. Your expertise in developing and implementing procurement strategies contribute to cost optimization and timely delivery.
Moving beyond transactions to relationships, you serve as the vital link between the IT department and vendors. Ensuring every contract reflects our commitment to excellence, you bring meticulous attention to detail in contract administration. This includes reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors. Simultaneously, you maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
Reporting to the IT Risk and Governance Manager, your efforts contribute to a resilient IT control environment, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
As the financial steward of IT procurement, your mission involves optimizing budgets. By overseeing the procurement process through purchase orders, you contribute to accurate budget tracking, providing insightful financial analysis, and empowering informed decision-making.
In summary, your mission is multifaceted: strategic procurement, relationship management, contract administration, governance alignment, and financial stewardship. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Procurement Operations:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts for IT goods and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with departmental needs
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for cost optimization and timely delivery
- Contract Administration:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors
- Ensure contract compliance, adherence to legal and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation
- Vendor Relationships:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with IT vendors
- Evaluate vendor performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and conduct regular reviews
- Compliance and Risk Oversight:
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Ensure procurement and contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Mitigate risks associated with contracts and procurement processes
- Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with finance teams for accurate tracking of IT procurement budgetsProvide financial analysis and reports related to procurement activities.
