We have recently appointed a new Group Head of Procurement who has an exciting business plan in place. Due to this we are looking to recruit an IT Procurement Specialist on a fixed Term Contract for 12 months, based in the UK, willing to travel 25%.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and implement best practice category management across IT procurement.
Ensure cost-effective and efficient sourcing and procurement of IT materials and services.
Exploit group purchasing power and employ leading procurement practices.
Work closely with IT to monitor, manage, and forecast IT capacity and spend.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and conditions.
Monitor and report on procurement performance and savings achieved.
Monitor and drive improvement of IT compliance with core vendor management processes, such as timely renewals, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipting
