The Position
IT Procurement System Owner: E2E Procurement & Finance Solution

IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF SAP FINANCE AND/OR PROCUREMENT AND RELATED E2E AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PROCESSES.

  • Practical experience in the implementation of solutions in the Procurement area: Related technologies: (SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, GEP, Fieldglass, Concur, among others).
  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst conducting requirements and design sessions with business process owners. Specifically in the Procurement area: Category Management, Material Management (procure to pay, direct and indirect purchase, receiving), Invoice Verification.
  • Strong analytical thinking, result-oriented team player and ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
  • Ability to plan own work to meet objectives and to work independently. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent coordination and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a system owner for the GEP system (end-to-end Procurement and supply chain software), working closely with the Business and Foundational domains, understanding the business processes in your functional area and the impact on the E2E processes.
  • Governance of operational support, including the required process and tools and management and continuous improvement of GEP support service.
  • Ensures the application of Roche’s IT standards, including security, privacy, ICFR compliance and compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with IX Product Managers and/or Business Partners on business development activities such as translating business strategy into technology-enabled strategies.
  • Providing content knowledge and utilizing problem-solving skills for complex issues, to optimize the operational performance of the system.
  • Applying concepts of development, implementation and operations control not only for the ERP system, but in conjunction with any other technological platform whose integration to the ERP can impact the results.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional workshops to address complex business or systems issues, with the ability to influence and innovate while adapting to a dynamic business organization.
  • Communicate appropriate information (complexities, strategies, issues, solutions) within and across multiple business areas.
  • Guide and influence teams, committees or other forum decision-making bodies and foster a collaborative team environment that excels at leveraging diversity of thinking, innovation and expertise.
