ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong project management skills – including resource and budget responsibility
  • Familiar with working in a formal Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Experience with IT change delivery and supplier management
  • Experience of IT infrastructure and delivery of technology and software applications
  • Experience of delivering projects to a formal and established methodology, must have strong interpersonal skills for internal / vendor management at all levels
  • Good communication skills both written and oral

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prince2 Practitioner qualified
  • Agile Project Management experience
  • Experience of IT delivery of construction projects

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as IT Project Manager.
This role will be required to deliver a range of small to large IT projects within time and on budget. Working closely with Vendors and Center Parcs development teams, you will ensure that IT elements for a range of construction projects (lodge/unit refurbishments, larger scale construction) are assessed from business requirement scoping through to delivery.
To be successful in this role, strong project management skills are paramount, including resource and budget responsibility. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with IT change delivery and supplier management, along with experience of IT infrastructure, technology and software applications.
Experience of delivering projects to a formal and established methodology are required and therefore you should be familiar with working in a formal Project Management Office (PMO). This role will also see you ensuring adherence to established methodologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as you will communicate to business teams & stakeholders at all levels throughout the project lifecycle. Your strong communication skills will also help you to prepare and deliver gate presentations, driving IT projects from Strategy through to Monitor phase where applicable.
The Prince2 Practitioner qualification would also be desirable.
