Description:
Department IT Development and Operations 50000710 Business Unit Information Technology Reg-Temp Full-Time Regular Work Schedule Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Remote/Telecommuting Hybrid (part-time working on site, part-time working off-site) Position Summary
Manages project teams responsible for fulfilling DevOps, Student Success, Finance and/or campus projects.
Manages student recruitment CRM platform.
Liaise with PMO to establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects meet scope requirements, delivered on time, within budget and adhere to high quality standards and best practices.
Liaise with vendors to ensure projects are executed according to Statement of Work (SOW).
Set project goals and come up with plans to meet those goals.
Develop and maintain project timelines, budget tracking, status reports, risk assessments and issues list.
Coordinate internal and external project team members, developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
Organize meetings to discuss project goals and process with stakeholders and project team members.
Oversee development and execution of project communication plans.
Manages project resources such as computer equipment.
Ensure projects are in alignment with IT initiatives.
Assists leadership with the development of long-term plans, policies, and procedures and maintains support for applications within accountability.
Position Details
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
3 years
IF ANY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience in designing and developing complex applications to include full lifecycle application development, developing complex data structures, and project management.
(Will consider seven years related education/experience)
REQUIRED ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in managing moderately complex projects.
- Experience managing project deadlines and customer expectations.
- Experience building project plans and a full understanding of requirements gathering.
- Use of personal cell phone may be required in the course of University business.
