Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading key projects within the IS department. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, overseeing the development and implementation of IT projects, and ensuring that project goals are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience (3-5 years) as a project manager in the IT sector.
  • Solid technical background, with an understanding of software development and web technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for timely execution of projects.
  • Assist stakeholders with change management.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the main point of contact for project-related communication with stakeholders.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and potential changes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any issues that arise.
  • Communicate IT priorities to the rest of the company.
  • Regularly update the CIO of project plans, timelines, and challenges.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and adjust as needed.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate project team members.
  • Assign and oversee tasks, ensuring effective team collaboration and project progress.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare and present reports on project performance and outcomes.
