Description:
ARE YOU READY TO REDEFINE RISKS IN THE FINANCIAL WORLD?
At Lunar we are democratizing the power of money and changing the way we all bank, pay, and invest. Since starting in Aarhus in 2015, we’ve grown rapidly and are now a major player in the Nordics, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm
So who are we? Are we a tech company or a bank? Well, we’re both, breaking free from the usual categories. At Lunar, tech isn’t just a cool add-on; it’s the core of how we do things. With our own banking license, we go head-to-head with traditional banks. What sets us apart is the mix of tech and financial services, giving us the power to shake up a dusty industry that’s ready for a change.
As we continue our journey to becoming the best everyday bank in the Nordics, we are looking for a Risk Analyst to drive our third-party risk management efforts so that we can ensure robust compliance and security across our vendor ecosystem.
As our new Risk Analyst, you will be part of our dedicated Risk Management team reporting to Lene Hansen, Principal Head of Risk Management. The team currently comprises 3 amazing individuals working from Aarhus who are focused on mitigating risks and ensuring compliance within the broader Legal and Banking function led by Jonas Leed, Chief Legal Officer.
Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Ensure vendor due diligence and execute comprehensive third-party risk assessments as an integrated part of our procurement process.
- Update our register of information containing all our third-party vendors.
- Evaluate our third-party vendor’s IT security setup to ensure they meet our IT security requirements.
- Provide inputs to an IT security control framework and execute controls.
- Contribute to establishing and implementing DORA-related governance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to evaluate and score risks.
We’re excited to welcome everyone to apply for this impactful role! We can’t wait to follow up with talents who we believe are the best fit based on the following criteria:
- Experience in risk management within banking, financial institutions, or similarly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of IT security, cyber resilience and DORA regulations.
- Proven ability to handle complex third-party vendor setup in a regulated industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and engage proactively with stakeholders.
- Outgoing and proactive personality, able to network within the organization and build strong relationships.
- Preferable knowledge of NIST and ISO standards
