Description:

  • We are looking for a dynamic IT Sales & Business Development Officer to help us expand our reach, secure new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the IT or tech services industry.
  • Proven track record of success in selling IT services, including web development, software development, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with international business development and securing sponsorships is a plus.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • As an IT Sales & Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in identifying potential clients, developing partnerships, and selling our IT services.
  • Your primary focus will be on securing web development projects, software development contracts, cybersecurity services, and training partnerships.
  • You will work closely with our leadership team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with our business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT and tech education space, including corporate training contracts, software development, and cybersecurity services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and sponsors at local and international levels.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that contract terms meet company objectives and client needs.
  • Pitch and present RITA Africa’s services to prospective clients, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and potential areas for business expansion.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and CRM database of prospects and clients.
