EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3+ years of IT experience, with at least 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity;
- Degree or diploma in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field;
- Strong knowledge of security technologies and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection;
- Experience with security incident response and investigation;
- Good aptitude for new technology and a quick learner;
- Relevant entry-level cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or similar;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the National IT Infrastructure Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the IT Security Administrator include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Administer and maintain the organization’s security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions;
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions;
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of new security technologies and solutions;
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements;
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation;
- Provide training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices; and
- Other duties as assigned.
