They are looking for an IT Security Analyst to be part of their exciting culture and support in consulting with customer on Security topics, paying a generous salary of €100k DOE and offering many routes to progression.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• 3+ years of experience as a Security Analyst.
• A good understanding of network security and operating systems like Windows and Linux, with experience in log analysis.
• Proficient in working with IT security systems such as SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, or EDR/XDR.
• Proficient in German, with a C1 or higher language level.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Certifications like OSCP, CISSP, SANS, GIAC
• Decision making skills
• Confident, strong communicator in English and German

As an IT Security Analyst, you will manage incident response within the customers Cyber Defense Center, interpreting alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security systems. Youll analyze log data and attack indicators to recommend the right countermeasures during security incidents.
You will also identify anomalies and attack patterns, including during threat hunting. Your role includes stopping malware, CnC communication, exploits, infiltrations, and data leaks.
You will provide advice on defenses against known attack methods (e.g., using MITRE techniques) and help customers set up SOC processes. Additionally, you`ll identify ways to improve response processes and enhance security measures.
