SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
- 3+ years experience in a Security Analyst role or a similar.
- Experience working in IT security systems such as SIEM, SOAR, IDS/IPS, or EDR/XDR.
- A good understanding of network security and operating systems like Windows and Linux, with experience in log analysis.
- C1+ German speaking level.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, SANS, GIAC or similar
- Strong communicator in German and English

Responsibilities:
As an IT Security Analyst, you’ll manage incident responses in the Cyber Defense Center, interpret alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other systems, and analyze log data to recommend countermeasures. You`ll also identify anomalies, stop attacks, and provide defence advice based on known methods (e.g., MITRE techniques) while improving SOC processes and overall security measures.
