At emagine, we are looking for a dynamic IT Security and Vulnerability Management Consultant to lead the transformation and enhancement of our vulnerability management strategy. The consultant will focus on increasing the maturity, governance, and operational efficiency of IT security practices, with a strategic emphasis on governance, steering, and remediation over technical implementation.

• Define and implement governance structures, roles, and escalation procedures to address current gaps.

• Develop a vulnerability management strategy that aligns with organisational goals and industry best practices.

• Analyse and address inefficiencies in current processes, transitioning from reactive to proactive vulnerability management models.
• Propose and implement solutions for improving patch management and proactive remediation efforts.
• Establish and document KPIs to measure prioritisation, tracking, and overall progress.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and security assurance teams across various departments and locations.
• Facilitate alignment and communication to ensure buy-in and support for vulnerability management initiatives.
