About The Role (Your Why)
The IT & Security Manager’s main responsibility is to provide guidance and support to both business and IT units on all aspects of Information Security. The aim is to ensure compliance with the organization’s information security policy, meet business requirements, and manage risk effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Identifying and addressing business risks and vulnerabilities to enhance the security of existing products.
  • Assisting in determining the security requirements for new applications and software products.
  • Evaluating and recommending new security products and assisting in their seamless implementation.
  • Collaborating with other business units to identify controls and prepare security incident reports for management.
  • Contributing to the development, deployment, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, standards, and strategies.
  • Creating custom security solutions by assisting in the development of security tools as needed.
  • Supporting security awareness training programs.
  • Investigating, responding to, and reporting on security incidents as directed, and assisting with the implementation of security technologies under the direction of the IT Security Manager.

What You’ll Bring

  • Broad understanding and knowledge of Information Security principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT Security principles, including networks, internet, email, operating systems, firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography, and e-commerce. Specialization in at least two of these areas.
  • Specialized knowledge in IS Governance, Risk Management, or Technical Services.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with previous relevant experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management, Audit, or a similar role.
