We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Security Manager, Embedded Services to join our IT Security Embedded Services team located at the Information Technology working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

SUMMARY:

Position will lead an IT Security, Embedded Services team that will provide Departmental specialization and familiarity with technology & vendors, provide opportunities to deliver better service, and obtain better security outcomes. Supervises business unit-aligned IT Security Engineers.

SKILLS:

Essential:

• Basic Computer skills
• Complete level 1 Core Leadership Training within 12 mos
• Must be able to operate a computer or other equipment related to specific role (i.e. automated currency counters, calculator, projector, binding machine, other related office equipment)

EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

• 7 years directly related experience

EDUCATION:

Essential:

• Bachelors Degree in directly related field

• Maintains files, logs, and records
• Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
• Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
• Maintains knowledge of and enforce all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
• Prepares weekly reports
• Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
• Assigns, reviews, monitors and ensures performance of assigned staff for area of responsibility
• Participates in candidate selection process
• Assigns tasks and responsibilities of assigned staff
• Reviews and documents work effectiveness of assigned staff
• Coaches and corrects assigned staff through performance deficiencies
• Observes and documents work behaviors of assigned staff
• Ensures cooperative and respectful work relationship of assigned staff including interpersonal training and resolving internal issues
• Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines for assigned work area
• May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
• Research technological advancements to ensure that security solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards
• Provide recommendations for security and compliance practices
• Routinely participates in IT Security incident handling and resolution
• Handles IT security events and determines if an actual IT Security incident has occurred
• Administers and maintains IT security systems and appliances including installation, all maintenance activities, and end-of-life planning and replacement
• Oversees and participates in delivery of security services in support of Health, Commerce Business and Tribal Government Services technology.
• Provides support for information security policy, regulatory, contractual, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborates with management to address or correct compliance issues and findings
• Collaborates with leadership in creating quality action plans focused on alternative courses of action to improve existing processes and/or reduce potential quality or risk concerns
• Performs all other duties as assigned
