Description:
De functie: IT Security Manager, voor een deel van Tax and Accounting, een divisie van Wolters Kluwer.
Als IT Security Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en bewaken van het beveiligingsbeleid van verschillende Wolters Kluwer producten. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle gegevens, systemen en netwerken worden beschermd tegen interne en externe bedreigingen. Je bent een strategische partner voor het management en adviseert hen over de nieuwste beveiligingstechnieken en regelgeving.
Tevens werk je nauw samen met de technologie teams, verspreid over verschillend locaties, om beveiligingsrisico’s te minimaliseren en een veilige werkomgeving te waarborgen.
Taken en Verantwoordelijkheden:
- Ontwikkelen van beveiligingsstrategieën: Formuleren van het IT-beveiligingsbeleid, inclusief risicobeoordeling, strategieën voor dreigingspreventie, en herstelplannen.
- Coördineren met development managers en teams: Samenwerken met development managers, security kampioenen en teams om security verbeteringen te plannen, te prioriteren en te implementeren, waarbij ervoor gezorgd wordt dat beveiligingsvereisten consistent geïntegreerd worden in de ontwikkelcyclus en dat security best practices worden gevolgd binnen alle ontwikkelingsfasen. Je bent de contactpersoon voor het globale AppSec Center Of Excellence.
- Beveiligingsbeheer: Implementeren van maatregelen en technieken om systemen, netwerken en gegevens te beschermen tegen cyberdreigingen (zoals firewalls, encryptie, en IDS/IPS-systemen).
- Incidentbeheer: Coördineren van en reageren op beveiligingsincidenten, zoals datalekken of cyberaanvallen, en het opstellen van herstelplannen na een inbreuk.
- Bewustwording en training: Bevorderen van beveiligingsbewustzijn onder medewerkers door middel van trainingen en workshops.
- Compliance en audits: Zorgen dat de organisatie voldoet aan relevante wet- en regelgeving (bijv. GDPR) en externe en interne audits ondersteunen.
- Risicobeoordeling: Uitvoeren van periodieke risicobeoordelingen van de IT-systemen en aanbevelingen doen om kwetsbaarheden te verminderen inclusief monitoren en beoordelen van het gebruik van open source bibliotheken binnen de ontwikkelprojecten, met als doel het identificeren van kwetsbaarheden en licentievereisten.
- Innovatie en onderzoek: Op de hoogte blijven van nieuwe trends en technologieën in cybersecurity en deze kennis toepassen binnen de organisatie.
- Rapporteren aan het management: Regelmatig verslag uitbrengen over de beveiligingsstatus, risico’s, incidenten en voorgestelde verbeteringen.
Kwalificaties en Vaardigheden:
- Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Informatietechnologie, Cybersecurity of een verwant vakgebied.
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in IT-beveiliging, met ten minste 2 jaar in een leidinggevende of strategische rol.
- Diepgaande kennis van beveiligingssystemen, methodologieën voor risicobeheer, en relevante wet- en regelgeving (bijv. GDPR).
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, vermogen om complexe informatie duidelijk uit te leggen aan niet-technische stakeholders, en een proactieve, probleemoplossende houding.
- Sterke vaardigheden in probleemoplossing, onderzoek en data-analyse om dreigingen snel te identificeren en aan te pakken.
- Ervaring met het leiden van een team en het ontwikkelen van mensen in hun carrière is een pluspunt.
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, en Engels. Frans is een plus.

Job Description:
As an IT Security Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the security policies for various Wolters Kluwer products. You ensure that all data, systems, and networks are protected from internal and external threats. You act as a strategic partner for management and advise them on the latest security techniques and regulations. - Incident Management: Coordinating and responding to security incidents, such as data breaches or cyber-attacks, and creating recovery plans following a breach.
- Awareness and Training: Promoting security awareness among employees through training and workshops.
- Compliance and Audits: Ensuring the organization complies with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) and supporting external and internal audits.
- Risk Assessment: Conducting periodic risk assessments of IT systems and providing recommendations to reduce vulnerabilities, including the monitoring of the use of Open Source Libraries used within the software projects to identify vulnerabilities and review used licenses.
- Innovation and Research: Staying informed on new trends and technologies in cybersecurity and applying this knowledge within the organization.
- Reporting to Management: Regularly reporting on security status, risks, incidents, and proposed improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or strategic role.
- In-depth knowledge of security systems, risk management methodologies, and relevant laws and regulations (e.g., ISO, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Strong problem-solving, research, and data analysis skills to quickly identify and address threats.
- Experience leading a team and helping people grow in their careers is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- French is a plus
