Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a IT Security Threat Risk Assessment and Certification Accreditation Analyst for our Federal Government client.
Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
A. Produce a full Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A):
- Conduct a thorough security assessment of client’s information systems, including cloud environments.
- Identify and document potential security threats and risks.
- Assess the impact and likelihood of identified risks.
- Provide detailed recommendations for mitigating identified risks.
- Ensure that all assessments are compliant with Government of Canada security policies and standards.
B. Produce documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for each identified risk, including the level of effort required to address it.
- Develop and deliver documentation necessary to support an Authority to Operate (ATO) decision.
- Ensure all documentation is clear, detailed, and compliant with Government of Canada standards.
C. Participate in Consultations and Collaboration:
- Work closely with client’s IT and security teams to gather necessary information and insights.
- Participate in meetings and discussions as required to support the SA&A process.
