As an IT Support Specialist at Applied Medical Europe, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our team members. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, helping to resolve technical problems. Your responsibilities will include managing assets, handling ticket administration, and providing technical support for PCs, software, and telecom systems. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal processes and procedures, ensuring that our IT services are efficient and effective.
In this position you will report to the Team Leader IT Service Desk

Requirements:

  • MBO education level, preferably in IT
  • 1 + year working experience in an IT Support role
  • Strong Analytical skills with an appetite to learn on the job
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Other European languages such as Spanish, German or French is a plus
  • Knowledge of / experience with an IT ticketing system such as Service Now and/or Topdesk
  • Experience with mobile device support and platforms such as IOS and Android
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Outlook, MS- Teams and Azur

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line IT support for Applied Medical team members in Europe
  • Maintain asset and ticket administration
  • Provide technical PC, software, and telecom support
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and procedures
  • Deploy, maintain, and support company desktop computers, laptops, (mobile) telephones and other network attached devices
  • Develop and maintain manuals and documentation
  • Provide user training
