Responsibilities:
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements from the financial services industry and banking regulations.
- Experience in maintaining and optimizing a CMDB, ensuring accurate tracking of IT assets, configurations, and dependencies.
- Hands-on Proficiency in using ITSM tools ( Jira Service Management, Service Now)
- Can understand, design, and improve IT processes and identify how these are executed on a tool level
- knowledge of REST APIs
- good collaboration and communication skills, and fluency in English
- focusing on solving problems and thinking creatively
- strongly self-driven and result-oriented in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
As an IT Service Expert, you will be responsible for setting up and optimizing IT services and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Daily, your responsibilities would be:
- Conduct an ITSM assessment – where are we now, analyze gaps.
- Evaluate the tools currently in use, how well they support the ITSM processes, and whether these are fully utilized or need optimization
- Identify how IT services align with the business objectives and where improvements can be made to ensure IT is driving business value
- Based on the findings from the initial assessment, develop a detailed plan that outlines the steps needed to address key challenges.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, documentation, and structure of CMDB for efficient IT service management.
- Continuously look for and implement opportunities to improve processes, products, or services by identifying opportunities for improvement, collecting and analyzing data, initiating changes, and monitoring the results to increase efficiency and quality continuously
