Description:
Responsibilities:
As an IT Service Manager in IT Operations Solutions, you will be the key contact for IT-related topics within your service area or site, ensuring that services are not only available but run efficiently and effectively. Your role is crucial in driving continuous improvement, service management, and further development of IT services and solutions. You will:
- Manage IT Services: Oversee daily operational tasks, ensuring services are running smoothly and efficiently, while preparing and managing service budgets.
- Monitor and Report: Keep a close eye on service performance, providing regular reviews and reports to ensure all targets are met.
- Drive Improvement: Actively seek and implement efficiency improvements, harmonization, and rationalization within your service area.
- Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and leading site service meetings.
- Ensure Compliance: Manage licenses and 3rd party service contracts, maintain service documentation, and ensure the accuracy of the service structure and ITSM System & Configuration Database.
- Enhance User Experience: Work towards improving business satisfaction and end-user experience, ensuring the services provided meet the needs of the organization.
- Project Management: Take charge as a project manager for small projects at your site or within your service area.
- Coordinate and Harmonize: Lead the coordination of development and project activities, including process harmonization and solution/application consolidation, in partnership with IT and business teams.
- Cyber Security & Lifecycle Management: Focus on cyber security improvements and IT system lifecycle management to ensure the resilience and reliability of services.
