Team introduction
The EMEA IT-Service Operations team at TikTok manages the IT and AV infrastructure in our offices and ensures they are running optimally. We support the productivity of our users, helping to create those incredible experiences.
This role ensures the environment across EMEA is robust and performing optimally. It requires an experienced, diligent, and astute individual leading and working within a dynamic team on a variety of tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain robust processes and best practices
  • Manage, maintain, monitor and continuously improve the infrastructure within our EMEA offices
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs
  • Evaluate service performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing service improvement, cost optimisation and increased efficiency plans as needed
  • Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management
  • Act as an EMEA IT ambassador at all times, especially when working cross-function and international teams
  • Act as subject matter expert, lead in developing standards, KPIs, and strategy while also being prepared to roll your sleeves up and get into the daily operation
  • Manage and maintain and appropriate disaster recovery and business continuity plans and tests
  • Ensure the environment and operation is documented, escalating risks and issues appropriately
  • Responsible for any other activities as reasonably required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • +5 years experience running enterprise IT Infrastructure teams across multi-site and multi-country environments servicing 1,000s of end users
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Subject Matter Expert within Infrastructure Management including networking (wired and wireless), scripting/automation, monitoring, comm’s rooms, AV environments and beyond
  • Well ground in networking including LAN/WAN, routing and switching, firewalls, wireless, SDWAN, VPN and tunneling technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Competent within Windows and Mac environments
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering within tight timeframes
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of an international team
  • CCNP or better preferred
  • Comfortable creating/amending scripts
  • Cisco, Aruba, VMWare, and Palo Alto experience
  • Able to demonstrate working in a fluid, dynamic and continuously evolving environment
  • Enjoys continual change and able to work through ambiguity
