Are you passionate about IT and ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Services Engineer to join our technical support team. If you thrive on solving complex problems and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this could be the role for you!
As an IT Services Engineer at Thatcham Research, no two days are the same! You’ll tackle a range of technical issues, from hardware malfunctions to software glitches and network failures. This role offers lots of variety and provides the opportunity to be part of a growing, purpose driven organisation operating within an evolving industry.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE THINK YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Proven Experience: At least 2-3 years in a technical support role, with a proven track record of resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, laptop builds, iOS mobile devices, and endpoint management.
- Security Savvy: Solid understanding of IT security principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide users effectively.
- Team Spirit: Experience working in an IT support team with a medium-sized infrastructure (400+ devices, 250+ users).
- Independence & Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
