Your role
As an IT Solution Engineer (m/f/d) for Security Platforms, you will play a key role within our Group IT organization, helping to protect and optimize our global security infrastructure. You will be responsible for delivering, supporting, and advancing core security solutions that form the foundation of our IT security posture, ensuring they integrate effectively across our global operations.
- Develop and implement advanced security solutions, including Zero Trust frameworks, Password Management, Privileged Access Management, and Multi-factor Authentication
- Collaborate with our IT Security teams to assess current security infrastructure, recommend improvements, and establish policies and best practices
- Partner with our Network Infrastructure teams to integrate security solutions seamlessly into our IT infrastructure and ensure secure application development through “security by design”
- Conduct risk assessments, lead security audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and collaborate with third-party vendors to evaluate, select, and implement optimal security solutions
Work location is flexible across our main sites in Germany (Holzminden), France (Rennes), or Spain (Barcelona).
About you
- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or comparable qualifications.
- At least 5 years in IT infrastructure, operations, or project management, with a focus on designing and maintaining security solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, and familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders within an international, multicultural team
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams, building consensus and ensuring shared security goals
- Fluency in spoken and written English; additional language skills, such as German, French, or Spanish, are a plus
