Description:

Situate Business Solutions is currently looking for an IT specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in technical support within a corporate environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 3 years of Canadian IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) tech experience
· Excellent in both onsite & remote IT end user tech support, incl. support & troubleshooting for Windows PC, Mac, Phones, printers, MS365 local app (Outlook, Excel, Teams etc.) & Cloud Apps (OneDrive, SharePoint etc.), Adobe, Foxit, Quickbooks, Sage, Citrix and misc. common business software.
· Excellent to troubleshoot network & WiFi issues and solid understanding & work experience with VLAN, DNS, DHCP, Port Forwarding, Proxy, NAT, AP, AP Controller etc.
· Solid work experience with at least two brands of firewalls, preferably FortiGate, Juniper, PFSense, or UniFi USG firewalls. Real experience with Cisco, HP, D-Link managed network switches, and with WiFi solutions like UniFi & Meraki
· Solid work experience in setup, management and troubleshooting with Hyper-V & VMWare Server host and their virtual servers, and in backup software like Altaro & Veeam.
· Work experience in MS Exchange Server, MS365 Admin, SharePoint, Azure, inTune management & troubleshooting
· Capable to troubleshoot common PC, laptop, printer and other hardware issues
· Strong customer facing & communication skills; Capable to explain technical things with end users and to maintain good client relationship

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
· A valid driver’s license

NOT ESSENTIAL BUT HIGHLY REGARDED EXPERIENCE:

· Work experience in 2 Tier Firewall & Firewall Cluster Mode setup & troubleshooting
· Work experience in Hyper-V Server Cluster Setup & Troubleshooting
· Work experience in MS Exchange Server setup
· Work experience in SIEM management, Cyber Security monitoring & management
· Work experience in Microsoft Power Platform, i.e. Power Apps, Power BI
· Support experience for industry software like EsiLaw, Aconex, AcroPlot, AutoDesk, Fusion, ArcGIS, AutoPipe, Oracle P6, Global Mapper, CadWorx, ArcGIS, PetroSight etc.
· Management experience with SentinelOne, Hornet Total Backup, ESET, NinjaOne etc.
· Understanding of web coding & simple WordPress website editing
· Good management skills

Responsibilities:

· Provide support on end user, network & server-related problems.
· Infrastructure/Server/Network design, implementation, security, and support.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues including but not limited to workstation/server hardware and software, routers, switches, firewalls, printers etc.
· Cyber security monitoring, investigation & case handling
· Configure, install, and maintain IT users’ desktop software and hardware.
· Manage service delivery with detailed ticketing and time tracking, including description of problem, work performed and resolution
· Other duties may be added as defined.
