Description:

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Apprentice to assist with IT management and website maintenance / support. The role will primarily involve managing and updating our inventory system, resolving ongoing IT issues, and maintaining and improving the company’s websites. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Marketing and will play a key role in ensuring smooth technical operations across the business.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Interest in IT, e-commerce, and website management.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WooCommerce or WordPress is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in IT, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in IT support, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
  • Some experience with IT troubleshooting or website management (even in a personal capacity) is beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Support the marketing team with technical requirements for campaigns and promotions.
  • Assist with reporting and analytics to track e-commerce performance.
  • Provide general administrative IT support as required.
