JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a tech-savvy and customer-focused IT Support Assistant to join our team. The IT Support Assistant will provide technical assistance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an IT support role is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common IT tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Respond to support tickets and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including user manuals and FAQs.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and patches.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on IT equipment.
  • Support the IT team in various projects and tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
