Responsibilities:

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

In this position you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support to all end users of our Port Pirie site covering Applications, Computers, Servers, Storage and Network systems.
Key responsibilities include monitoring the Helpdesk queue and ensuring incidents and requests are managed in accordance with Service level Agreements, along with confirming cybersecurity and privacy standards are maintained and installed while commissioning of new hardware and software systems.
Your contribution will play a vital role in driving the successful operation of our business.
This position is based in Port Pirie and on a Monday to Friday roster.

KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Fair understanding of IP Networking and support.
  • Conduct disaster recovery testing as required.
  • Ensure backups are completed in accordance with the defined backup procedure.
  • Research, analyse and evaluate new computer hardware and software where appropriate.
  • Ensure all customer conversations are conducted in a professional, diplomatic, and respectful way.
