  • Proficient in maintaining accurate IT documentation.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an IT Support Officer, your role is crucial in ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.

KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of the organisation’s IT infrastructure.
  • Deploy and monitor robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Deliver efficient and timely technical support, addressing both hardware and software issues.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of tailored software solutions.
  • Supervise data management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining integrity.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies to align with best practices and industry standards.
  • Lead or participate in IT projects, coordinating tasks, resources, and timelines for successful outcomes.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and compliance requirements, implementing measures for a secure IT environment.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on IT best practices and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for cost-effective and quality procurement of hardware, software, and services.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations.
