An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated IT Support Officer to join our Technology team.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a legal or professional services firm;
• High level of attention to detail and exceptional communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently;
• Capability to consistently meet deadlines with conflicting priorities;
• Smooth, timely and accurate manner in delivery of all tasks; and
• A strong sense of proactivity and initiative.

Additionally, you will have the ability to manage the demands of a busy role including high levels of organisation and efficiency and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. In order to support the smooth running of the Perth office, on occasion you will be required to undertake other duties such as photocopier maintenance including toner refilling. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of proactivity and curiosity to always deliver high levels of service, and the availability to do after hours work when required.

OUR ROLE

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will support the national Technology team in delivering responsive and high level systems support to the firm. You will be based in our Perth office and be part of a talented, close-knit team of dedicated IT professionals, working collaboratively to support our Perth and Brisbane teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Our IT Support Officer will:

• Manage and resolve helpdesk service requests in a timely and efficient manner;
• Provide end user support to both offices;
• Create and manage user accounts for new staff;
• Coordinate and undertake IT equipment setups for new staff and any office moves that take place;
• Troubleshoot any hardware or software issues;
• Provide regular training to new starters and existing staff on a needs basis;
• Provide high level support in applications such as our document management systemWorksite 10, Aderant Expert and Microsoft Office; and
• Other duties when required and as directed by the IT Manager.
