    Pirtek’s National Office in Kings Park requires a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join their team as an IT Support Officer. You’ll be working with a variety of technologies and helping to provide support to our franchise network across Australia. The role also involves providing operational and ad-hoc support to our Kings Park team, troubleshooting, and ongoing development of our IT systems. This role will give you an opportunity to further develop your IT skills alongside a team who are experienced and skilled in their profession. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL IDEALLY HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / Powerpoint)
  • Windows Desktop (all versions) and Server 2012, 2016, 2019
  • Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat / Centos / Rocky)
  • VPN, Networking, Proxy Settings, Routers, Internet Modems, Ethernet
  • IBM / Lotus / HCL Notes and Domino
  • Microsoft SQL or other SQL variants
  • .NET and VB
  • Veeam
  • vSphere ESXi

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support and service to staff.
  • Provide remote support to our Franchise users.
  • Ensure all assigned support requests are promptly resolved (Level 1 and 2 support).
  • Provide incident response and incident diagnostic and resolution support for users and incidents raised.
  • Deploy, configure, upgrade and support devices including but not limited to desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, upgrade and support services including, but not limited to, operating software (MacOS, iOS and Windows), applications and systems.
