Description:
Are you an experienced IT Support Specialist (Dynamics) professional seeking to grow within a dynamic company and an established IT team? DD is looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist (Dynamics) to join our Service Desk Team as the SME based at our head office in Witham, Essex. This role involves actively participating in major incidents, managing day-to-day requests, and ensuring seamless problem resolution. As we transition our focus towards the CRM and the Dynamics suite, your expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting this strategic direction.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Essential:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics Suite, CRM and Field Service.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules, workflows and integrations.
- Certification or practical knowledge of IT service best practices (ITIL, ISO20k).
- Strong communication skills for handling colleague calls and emails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge in Dynamics F&O and Supply Chain
- Programming/Scripting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to oversee and enhance the Dynamics 365 platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Design, develop, and customise solutions within Dynamics 365, including configurations, extensions, integrations, and customisations.
- Build and implement custom workflows, plugins, web resources, and other components to extend Dynamics 365 functionality and address business needs.
- Provide support for deployment processes, data migration tasks, and system integration efforts as part of Dynamics 365 project initiatives.
- Advocate for, refine and continuously improve the Dynamics 365 platform to maximise its value and usability for the organisation.
- Proactive and hands-on, with the ability to effectively capture requirements. This role requires spending time with various business areas, such as field engineers, to understand how teams use the solutions and gather insights for potential upgrades.
- Strong collaboration with IT colleagues is essential to foster growth and continuously improve knowledge and expertise in the Dynamics platform.
