Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive IT Support and User Engagement Specialist who will be the key liaison between technology and its users. In this dynamic role, you will provide frontline Helpdesk support while serving as an SME for the company’s application suite. Your goal will be to empower users by delivering hands-on support, running training sessions, and championing the use of the company’s tech stack to maximize productivity and user satisfaction.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Strong foundation in providing front-line support and solving user issues. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve a range of technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience in running training sessions and creating educational resources for users with diverse skill levels.
  • Experience in developing clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to facilitate ongoing education and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft-based applications such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Office 365 Suite, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and Project Management tools.
  • A motivated self-starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and drives results independently.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with the skill to simplify complex concepts and build rapport with users at all levels of technical proficiency.
  • Capable of quickly learning and embracing new tools, such as an upcoming Portfolio Management System.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for user inquiries and issues, providing timely technical assistance and troubleshooting across the application suite.
  • Conduct training sessions, including “lunch and learns,” to educate users on best practices and advanced features of the technology. Tailor your approach to users’ skill levels.
  • Serve as the expert on the company’s applications, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, Office 365 Suite, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and Project Management tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionality updates to provide informed guidance.
  • Create and maintain easy-to-understand documentation, guides, and FAQs to support continuous learning and troubleshooting.
  • Foster a culture of technology adoption by championing new tools, features, and enhancements. Lead initiatives to help users fully utilize the company’s tech stack.
  • Collaborate with users to identify pain points and inefficiencies, and provide tailored solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.
  • As a self-starter, take ownership of user support and training initiatives, driving continuous improvements in user engagement and technology use.
