CBG Surveying, located in Garland, TX, is seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time, (25-hours per week), IT Support Specialist to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in a customer service or IT-related position, with a strong technical background and a passion for providing top-notch support. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a per-hour focus on troubleshooting, system administration, and customer service. The position will be based out of our Garland, TX office and will require you to work in-office daily.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Highly proficient in Windows & Mac support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with running cables and installing network drops.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Office 365 support and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Active Directory and domain environments.
  • Familiarity with VMware and MS Windows Server environments.
  • Basic administration of MS Exchange/Office 365.
  • Proficiency in iOS & Android device support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with remote management tools like ConnectWise.

  • Must have at least 3 years of experience, related to IT and Customer Service.
