Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT systems to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, email, applications, and other IT systems.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software for end users.
- Install and update software applications and security patches.
- Maintain and monitor IT equipment and infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and common issues in a knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to implement improvements and upgrades to the organization’s IT systems.
- Assist with other IT-related projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role, ideally 1-3 years.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with common IT support tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable way.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) are a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
