Description:
Job Title: IT Support Technician
Location: Base location, Stamullen, Co. Meath
Reporting to: Management Information and Systems Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
JOB OBJECTIVES:
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic IT Support Technician to join our team and help maintain the functionality and integrity of our digital systems, ensuring a seamless experience for all end-users.
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing
- Technical assistance and overall support related to the Talbot Group’s computer systems and software.
- This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues and a customer-focused mindset.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, technical troubleshooting, or a similar role.
- BA level Degree in IT or Computer Science or a similar qualification.
- Advanced MS Office knowledge, particularly MS Excel required.
- Experience of data analysis and Power BI an advantage.

Responsibilities:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Management Information and Systems Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the following:
- Provide End User Technical Helpdesk Support for Talbot Group Systems
- Assisting with the maintenance and configuration of Talbot Group Systems
- Supporting the role out of new technology and system upgrades
- Monitoring and auditing the quality and accuracy of digital information and records
- Creating and updating reports and KPI documentation
- Provide Staff training
