REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar position
  • Strong practical understanding of software development methodologies
  • High level of proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
  • Solid knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to work in an ever changing, very collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with software developers and teams across the business to streamline software development and make the deployment process seamless.
  • Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines, automating software builds, testing, and deployment
  • Build and maintain IT infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, ensuring scalability is built in to your processes
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Ensure the continued monitoring of system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and rectifying issues as they arise
  • Continuously enhance networking and securing measures, ensuring data protection, connection and system integrity
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field, always implementing best practice
