DESCRIPTION:

The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for developing, building, maintaining, and testing systems within the cloud hosting environment and ensuring standards are met for the FedRAMP security certification process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and processes for Azure hosting
  • Experience in a FedRAMP Authorized Azure Environment Preferred
  • Experience in high security/compliance environment
  • Clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills
  • Expert analytical & critical thinking skills
  • Ability to ideate plans and solutions and then effectively communicate to others
  • Technologically savvy and the willingness to continue to learn new technologies
  • Excellent organizational skills, appreciation of critical timelines and the ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
  • Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
  • Ability to work on-call hours as needed
  • Ability to travel up to 10% annuall

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the ImageTrend hosting environments and product requirements
  • Collaborate with IT System Architects, Database Administrators, Security Team and Product Owners to maintain cloud hosting environments
  • Support FedRAMP environment in Microsoft Azure
  • Apply best security and compliance practices from the FedRAMP environment to commercial cloud environments
  • Create technical documentation of FedRAMP environment
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors
  • Provide support on an on-call basis if issues arise outside of standard hours
  • Travel to orientation, industry or company events, and other onsite meetings as required, up to 10%
  • Additional duties as assigned
