REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience at a similar level
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Active Directory, including design, administration, and troubleshooting in On-prem and Azure environments
- Azure AD SSO and identity configuration and management with various corporate SaaS applications
- Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online
- Intune / Endpoint Manager, SCCM
- Microsoft SQL Server Administration and TSQL
- Wifi technologies around Authentication and Security
- Strong knowledge and understanding of:
- Cloud identity and access management concepts and standards (OAuth, SAML, etc)
- Active Directory, including design, administration, and troubleshooting in On-prem and Azure environments
- Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Strong commitment to client-focused operations and working within a collaborative team environment
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and a proven ability to work within tight timeframes, manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in ITIL Service, Change and Incident Management processes
- Project management tools (Atlassian suite and Freshservice)

Responsibilities:
ROLE
The Systems Engineer role is primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery and support of Information Communication Technology services, as well as providing expert advice and technical assistance to Kaplan Australia staff. This role performs a mix of operational and project duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create system designs, handover documentation, and assorted project artefacts
- Act as a senior technical member of the Operations team
- Support and manage back-office infrastructure to ensure availability of critical systems
- Escalate high impacting service issues to relevant stakeholders
- As needed, assist internal ICT support teams in the resolution of Incidents
- Timely response and resolution of service issues and ensure service level agreements are met
- Where required; install, support, and maintain ICT Infrastructure for staff and students
- Collaborate with chosen vendors and service providers to deliver expected service levels
- Identify potential problems and advise IT Leads, assist in developing most appropriate remediation, solution, and escalation path
- Assist in the implementation of ICT migrations and integration assets as required
- Occasional out of hours support and project work may be required
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures including WHS legislation requirements
