ABOUT THE TEAM

We are Quadcode, a fintech company excelling in financial brokerage activities and delivering advanced financial products to our global clientele. Our flagship product, an internal trading platform, is offered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution to other brokers.
Now we are looking for a Golang Team Lead to join our Core Platform Team.
Our team, composed of experienced senior developers, focuses on supporting and evolving core microservices used by Quadcode’s product teams. We build and maintain cross-SaaS services that power key features across internal SaaS products, acting as ‘devs for devs.’ Most of our clients are internal development teams, and we handle a range of services, including both modern and some legacy systems. Our microservices enable other products to send emails, run marketing campaigns, gather user data, provide articles and translations, and offer analytics.
As a Team Lead, you will mentor and lead a team of 7 people while guiding the development of essential services. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire development process, ensuring code quality, and overseeing seamless integration of services. You will work closely with the Customer Relations, Trading, Billing, and Compliance teams. Additionally, you will optimize the team’s performance by maintaining a flexible and efficient Agile/Scrum environment, guiding sprint planning, and fostering collaboration. We’re searching for a proactive leader who not only excels at driving technical excellence but is also passionate about people management, ensuring team growth and success.
Team: 5 Golang Developers, a QA Auto Engineer, a QA Manual Engineer, and a Team Leader.
Working with Agile, Scrum (1–2-week sprints, grooming, planning, retrospective), and SAFe framework. Furthermore, we are using Google Meet, Slack, TargetProcess, Wiki, and Confluence for teamwork. Daily scrum standups are conducted at 11:00 (EET/EEST), followed by peer code reviews.
Technology stack: Golang, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, Redis, Kafka, PHP (Symfony/Phalcon), Grafana, Gitlab-CI, Docker, k8s.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of proven experience as a Team Lead or in a similar leadership role in software development;
• At least 5 years of expertise in Golang development with experience building high-load, scalable applications;
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and related tools;
• Experience with microservices, monitoring, containerization, and orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes);
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively;
• Ability to manage, mentor, and develop talent within the team;
• English proficiency at a B1 level (ability to read technical documentation and communicate with international teams);
• Fluency in Russian (at least C1).

• Lead a team of developers and QA engineers, driving the team’s success and ensuring effective collaboration;
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and maintainable microservices;
• Ensure the quality of the codebase by implementing coding standards, conducting code reviews, and managing CI/CD pipelines;
• Collaborate with internal teams to define technical requirements and architecture for new features and services;
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives;
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
