Description:
The IT Technical Analyst is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to 250 end users, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and security of IT systems and networks. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Network Manager, this role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, maintaining infrastructure, and implementing IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the IT Helpdesk team supporting:
- Microsoft 365
- WAN & LAN networks
- Firewalls
- VMware & Windows Server
- Windows 10/11 deployment and support
- OS and software patching
- Business applications
- Ensure IT security best practices across the network.
- Support and maintain local and wide-area networks.
- Assist in updating and testing the Group Business Continuity Plan.
- Provide out-of-hours support and travel between locations as needed.
- Follow procurement processes for hardware and software purchases.
- Research, source, and implement hardware/software solutions as required.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- IT degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 years’ experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of computer systems and IT components.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and IT best practices.
