Description:

The IT Technical Analyst is responsible for providing high-quality technical support to 250 end users, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and security of IT systems and networks. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Network Manager, this role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, maintaining infrastructure, and implementing IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the IT Helpdesk team supporting:
  • Microsoft 365
  • WAN & LAN networks
  • Firewalls
  • VMware & Windows Server
  • Windows 10/11 deployment and support
  • OS and software patching
  • Business applications
  • Ensure IT security best practices across the network.
  • Support and maintain local and wide-area networks.
  • Assist in updating and testing the Group Business Continuity Plan.
  • Provide out-of-hours support and travel between locations as needed.
  • Follow procurement processes for hardware and software purchases.
  • Research, source, and implement hardware/software solutions as required.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • IT degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a thorough understanding of computer systems and IT components.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and IT best practices.
