Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician o assist the IT Manager in delivering effective IT support for the Diocese. This is a hands on role, working with teams at the diocesan central office, The St Philip Howard Centre, Crawley, and parishes across Sussex and Surrey to deliver first-line support to IT users.

Responsibilities:
- Support central office diocesan staff with desktop/first line support, escalating to the IT Manager where appropriate.
- Provide a first line of contact for parish teams, supporting the use of Office 365 and other centrally managed systems; assisting the IT Manager as diocesan-wide projects continue to be rolled out.
- Assist in the on-going training of IT related systems to stakeholders such as Office 365, ChurchSuite database system and other software applications.
- Support the setup of meetings and events with IT/AV requirements within the central office.
- Ensure safe practices are observed in the use of all IT/AV equipment as directed by the IT Manager.
- Assist in maintaining IT linked systems in the central office, including access control system, photocopiers/printers and signing in system. * Supervise the hiring of central IT equipment and appropriate booking of these resources, checking for any maintenance needs after each booking.
- Provide technical support to the Communications Team to ensure that any processes requiring technical support can be completed without delay.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
