Description:
IT TECHNICIAN III - FULL-TIME, ON-SITE (FREMONT, OH):
Job Summary –
Assists the IT Department in maintaining an effective bank-wide Information Technology Department involving mainframe, network and PC environments.
Essential Job Duties –
- Installs and maintains networks and systems including hardware and software related to the bank’s physical and virtual computer environments, network communications environment and firewall administration.
- Assists with supporting the bank’s IT infrastructure. Manages Microsoft domain, VMware virtual server and VDI environment and ancillary systems. This could include SIEM, antivirus, patch management, vulnerability management, data loss prevention systems, firewalls, switches and bank application software.
- Monitors and investigates network performance issues including, but not limited to availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency.
- Monitors the bank’s networks to keep an eye out for any security breaches and ensures issues are resolved or mitigated.
- Develops and analyzes cyber security reports and provides recommendations to management regarding security trends and concerns.
- Participates in administering Disaster Recovery solution for network and performs regular testing.
- Researches the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with technology controls to protect bank’s data and network.
- Complies with and maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Completes assigned compliance training essential to job function.
- Punctual and regular attendance is required.
Requirements –
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a computer related role
- General knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite programs
- Must be able to work independently and with little supervision
- Must be able to effectively work on and prioritize multiple projects
- Must possess valid driver’s license in order to travel to various bank offices
