Description:
IT VENDOR MANAGER INTRO
On behalf of our client Procom is seeking an IT Vendor Manager to support Information Technology’s (IT) strategic relationships with Vendors and Service Providers. This is a 1 year contract in downtown Calgary Alberta.
IT VENDOR MANAGER MANDATORY SKILLS
- 15+ years of experience in IT or Supply Chain Management
- Expert knowledge of IT contracts and negotiation of complex and multiyear agreements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven researching ability
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field
- Ability to build trust, organize, and manage multiple priorities and projects
- Innovative problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgets, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Ability to create and maintain price benchmarks to drive the best price from vendors
- Experience in managing contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings
- Ability to communicate effectively through various channels including email, individual interviews, group meetings, and presentations
