Description:
As the Italy Sales Manager, you will drive business growth in a market valued, with a projected annual growth rate of 10% over the next five years. This role primarily focuses on the wine sector, with opportunities to expand into spirits. You will manage a portfolio of over 1,000 clients, ranging from small wineries to key market players.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in packaging or the wine and spirits industry.
- Knowledge of glass packaging or related supplies (e.g., corks, labels, capsules).
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing key accounts, including distributors.
- Experience in sales with a technical dimension (e.g., product development, quality assurance).
- Fluent in English; French is a plus.
KEY SKILLS & TRAITS
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong internal collaboration.
- Skilled in market analysis, strategic planning, and implementation.
- Adept at relationship building and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in CRM tools (Oracle CRM On Demand) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Based in Northern Italy (preferably Milan).
- Comfortable with regular travel within Italy and occasional travel abroad.
