Description:

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented ITAR Compliance Manager to join our team in the Fort Meade, Maryland area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provides expertise and guidance in all areas related to compliance with Department of State regulations governing the manufacture, export, and temporary import of defense articles and services * Consult on the management of international supply and export orders to ensure compliance with ITAR requirements * Advising on the proper flagging and tracking of ITAR items in shipping paperwork * Ensure that tools and training materials for operational processes related to logistics and export activities are updated and aligned with regulatory compliance * Provide advice on license applications and navigate export filings with carriers while ensuring adherence to ITAR regulations * Supervising and mentoring subordinate project staff members. Receive direction from the Business Operations Director IV Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree * Seven or more (7) years of related experience * If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required * If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required Clearance Requirements: * This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Physical Requirements: * Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time * Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer * The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations * The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
