Serco supports the US Air Force as a sub for their Depot Maintenance Time and Attendance Application (DMAPS TAA) contract which is looking for a Java Application Developer to participate in the Agile application development life cycle for design, development and testing of Java Web Applications, using Java, Struts, Spring Boot, Oracle, Eclipse and others.
You will be part of a team comprised of government and contractors that work closely with other Serco team members to deliver quality support. Our team has been recognized by the US Air Force Program as providing top quality services in support of the customers.
In this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively as a Java Application Developer on an Agile team and can complete user stories and develop/execute usable code and unit test conditions independently with minimal oversight and guidance.
- Support Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization; contributes to acceptance/functional testing duties and part of incremental feature development.
- Adhere to, promotes, and maintains documentation and testing standards and best practices, participates in regular peer reviews.
- Perform acceptance testing, load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as required.
- Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Associates Degree
- The ability to obtain a NACI
- 3 years of Agile and Java development experience
- The ability to Travel up to 10
