Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Java Backend Developer you will play a pivotal role in crafting developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Your expertise will drive innovation and efficiency ensuring robust and scalable applications that meet business needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement best practices in coding testing and deployment to ensure robust and scalable applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for optimization.
- Solve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software solutions ensuring clarity and ease of maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies integrating relevant advancements into the development process.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their needs ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements safeguarding critical data and maintaining system integrity.
- Optimize application performance identifying and addressing bottlenecks to improve user experience.
- Participate in agile development processes contributing to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Knowledge in Java 8/java 11, Spring boot and microservices.
- Strong Experience with Identity Access Management and Security frameworks.
- 8 years of proven ability in Java (JEE/Spring Core/Spring Boot/Rest API/Microservice/JSON/ XML/MySQL)
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML Authentication & Authorization
- Familiarity with common software development tools – editors, build systems, Git, BitBucket
